Answer: The database structure has changed between version 9
and 10, so Reference Manager 9 will not be able to immediately open a Reference Manager 10
or later database automatically. However, only one of the database file formats has changed
dramatcially, so you may be able to rebuild the database using only the .rmd file.
To try this:
- First make a backup of the database files.
- Then isolate the .rmd file for the database by moving it to a new location.
- In Reference Manager go to "Tools > Rebuild Database" and select this .rmd file as
the database to rebuild.
If successful, this will recreate the .rmx file and allow you to access this database as
a Reference Manager 8/9 database. |
